M42 Orion Nebula

This is a crop of my wide field view showing the region in Orion from the Sword up to the Belt. This encompasses the Great Orion Nebula (M42), the Running Man Nebula (NGC1977), the Horse Head Nebula (Barnard 33) and the Flame Nebula (NGC2024) This image was created from data acquired with a OSC cmos camera and a Quadband filter that allows for separation of wavelengths of visible light associated with H⍺ and Oiii. I created a Luminance channel from the original RGB image and then combined that with the H⍺ and Oiii data to create a LLHO(LRGB) palate. This is a false colour image but I think it works for artistic effect.
